Foo Fighters Counter-Protest WBC [UPDATED with better video!]

It’s Not Comics, but after a depressing morning, I wanted to give us all little pick-me-up.

The Westboro Baptist Church (who were not the bad guys in Red State, wink wink) announced a protest of a Foo Fighters show in Kansas City, MO. So the Foo Fighters decided to do something:

Some folks say that responding to the WBC gives them unnecessary attention, but I can’t imagine anyone who’s exposed to their hate who would want to believe in their message. Besides, the right kind of counter-protest just makes them feel inadequate and unimportant. (Check out the one guy holding the signs and shouting – I wonder if he’s afraid if he has a small penis…)

WBC = FAIL

Foo Fighters = WIN
