After a few weeks of running the ALL DAY COMICS site single-handedly, I’ve realized how tough it is to keep posting interesting stuff every day. I haven’t had the chance to post as many substantive pieces as I’ve wanted. Being a stay-at-home husband who has to do actual, paid, professional writing (on top of cooking and caring for a couple of cats), there just isn’t enough hours in the day!
That’s why I decided to make a big change to the ADC site: starting today, there will be posts not just from me, but from a number of comics-loving compadres who have something to say about their love of comics and the world we all live in. This will ensure that ADC will have something new and cool for you to read on a regular basis – and also give me back a bit of precious time to focus on my own comics work!
First up is the esteemed JEFF ALAN POLIER, who will be contributing a number of stories about the first time he read a number of comics titles. Please give Jeff a warm welcome, and feel free to post comments!
Several other contributors will be announced in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for even more coolness ahead. This was a hard decision to make: this site was originally created as a place for me to share my love of, and thoughts about, the comics world. But I concluded that making ADC an outlet for others to share their own stuff will make it even better. I hope you agree!
Thanks to all of the hundreds of readers who’ve stuck with the site as it’s gone through the occasional hiccup/dry spell. In addition to the fun links and info I want to share with you, ALL DAY COMICS is going to have a lot more cool and interesting stuff going forward (even from me!). Now, let’s get this party started!
